Description: The badge consists of a gold cross of 4 arms and 8 points, enamelled white, with the crowned Saxon arms in the centre surrounded by the inscription FRIED.AUG.KVSACHSEN.D.7.JUN.1815, within a white gold-edged circlet. The badge is suspended from a crown. A rue crown appears between the arms of the cross. The reverse is inscribed FÜR VERDIENST UND TREUE.
