ParticipantNice photo! Indeed, there is a comparison between you and Hawkeye Pierce

ParticipantYou mentioned before that you have helped with the "cleaning" of the Chernobyl area and that you have been awarded medals for this work.
What medals are you allowed to wear? And do you have a photo of your own deserved set?
Henk-Willem
ParticipantI also think that it is a little bit sad that nobody else has something to show.
I never knew that there is such a big area of these "physics" badges. Is there any reference material about this subject written?
Henk-Willem
ParticipantI wish I could show something. I’ve some nuclear related medals from Russia, but you already showed them.
The other thing I had was the American Chemical corps coin (on page 3 it think).I never thought that there is so much of this wonderfull stuff.
Henk-Willem
ParticipantDo you also have badges of Institutes from Germany, the Jülich Research Centre (Forschungszentrum Jülich) for example?
Henk-Willem
ParticipantHow did you interest in this badges started?
Henk-Willem
ParticipantYou really have a nice collection of nuclear physics related badges!
The reason why I follow this thread is that I’ve a great interest in nuclear- and particle physics. It is a little (a very little) bit related to my study, I study Chemistry (bachelor degree, one year left).

ParticipantThank you for the information!
Do you know what the numbers on the back mean?many thanks in advance.
Henk-Willem
ParticipantAre these badges with a pin on the back or do they have screws on thier backs?
Henk-Willem
ParticipantSome wonderfull new additions to this page!
The table medals, are they "coin-size(smaller then 5 cm)" or are they bigger then that?
Henk-Willem
ParticipantMaybe that you guys can help me. I’ve this American regiment (US Army Chemical Crops Regiment) coin in my collection:
Does this have anything to do with the Nuclear test items? Or does this Regiment don’t do "Nuclear things"?On the back of the coin, there are some engraved numbers:

Can somebody say something about it?Many thanks in advance.

ParticipantThis is for the first time that I see number 2 on a 5 sided ribbon. I only knew the 4 sided ribbons.
Is there a difference between who got the 4 sided and the 5 sided ribbon?Henk-Willem
ParticipantI would like to thank you for showing your magnificent collection of nuclear tests items. I’ve learned a lot of it and I’ve seen items that I never saw before.

ParticipantAbsolute eye candy!
A question about the last medal. It looks like a breast star. How big is it?
Many thanks in advance.Henk-Willem
