I’m a 23 year old dude from Denmark. I’m a volunteer firefighter and work as a EMT-B/"Coroner-van-driver".
I used to have the website skibden.dk that contained a database of all danish medals.
This have been moved to Wikipedia, as I did not have the time to maintain the website. you can find the link in my signature.
My "collection" interests are medals that are currently being awarded and medals that may be worn by the uniformed services in Denmark.
I am NOT however into all these fake orders of "knighthood" that are getting more and more popular – The only interest I have in these is finding ways to avoid themAugust 7, 2011 at 5:55 pm #14782August 8, 2011 at 11:38 pm #14785AnonymousInactive
Hello to all
I’m Mark and I use to be a member of OMSA and honestly maybe again in the near future. I was pretty much raised within a Militaria Collector Environment my whole life as my father, Thomas (Tom) Sikes (deceased) was a life long collector and member of OMSA and OMRS.
My primary interests are researching British and Commonwealth medals as well as collecting to same with an eye towards Royal Naval medals (LSGC), medals to Sikes/Sykes and more recently medals to the South African Contingents in WWII. Even so, I pretty much have a Hodge podge of everything.
I look forward to seeing how the next generation of the OMSA website progresses and wish the best.

I’m Jim Barker, OMSA #5014, sometime contributor to the old forum. I collect mostly U.S. federal military medals but have lately branched out into federal civilian medals and society badges. Also pick up the odd piece here and there as catch my eye.

My name is Paul Martin and I am the curator of the USAF Academy Historical Collection. Our collection, as you might guess contains numerous foreign and U.S. medals and decorations from such individuals as General of the Air Force Henry H. Arnold, General Hoyt S. vandenberg, General Carl Spaatz, General Nathan Twining, and many other well known individuals of USAF History as well as lesser known individuals and Academy graduates.
OMSA has provided a lot of help in identifying unknown medals and decorations from our collection and hopefully will continue to be a vlaubale resource.October 26, 2011 at 8:37 pm #15159

I admit, I’ve been absent from the Forum, so I’ve missed all the new things happened…
I live in Northern Italy and I’m a collector of Imperial Austrian Orders & Decorations. My interests are also in the honour systems of Albania and the former (or still existing) socialist countries.
I hope to be of any help and to enjoy searching through this fine Forum.
