I presume this medal was for WWII service, awarded by the city of Shenandoah, Iowa. It contains the seal of the city and no obverse markings. Has anyone seen this medal before and/or have any information about it?

For WWI service. The 1920 census put the town’s population at 5255, so a scarce medal.

Interesting – that would make it my Great-Uncle Frank Cox’s medal. Thanks for the information.
