ParticipantInteresting, the French always use the same chemical molecule on ABC-related badges/insignia.
The molecule is phenanthrene. Its a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon. The substance is not very hazardous, so I’m curious why the French have put it on their insignia.
Does somebody have an idea?
More information about phenanthrene: http://www.epa.gov/osw/hazard/wastemin/ … enanth.pdf
