So, this came as a surprise..

The Danish Minstry of Justice have created  four new medals, that all have been approved by the Queen.

I havn’t seen any pictures yet, and I’m looking forward to seeing especially the ribbons – 1959 instated police medal for 25 years of service, is one of the only medals in Denmark not having a red and white ribbon.. I’m looking forward to seeing if the ribbons are also green for these new ones..

    The new medals are:

    – The Ministry of Justice Medal

    – The Ministry of Justice Medal for Killed in Action

    – The Ministry of Justice Medal for Wounded in Action

    – The Ministry of Justice Medal for International Service

The first medal can be awarded by the minister for anyone he sees fit.. The last 3 kinda have their criteria in the name.. The Ministry of Justice covers the police and prisonservice.
