    Does any one know anything about French Mini Medals that ribbon is a combination of two different french awards?

    They were common during the XIXth century for the civilian suit.

    You can find full size ribbon with combination of WWI awards, be aware that they were produced to be worn as ribbon bar only for the civilian suit and not attached to the medal as you can see them on Ebay…

    Exactly ! These ribbons are not supposed to be on a medal but as always it’s possible that a veteran choose to put it on his war cross but it’s impossible to be sure. Apparently no period photos are known.

    Be aware that these ribbons are still produced…
