I have been asked by my wife to dispose of some of my medal collection.  My problem rests with Korean items from the hostile Northern part of the country.  Ebay refuses to let me put them out with other medals, is there another legal way to sell them?  Any help would be appreciated.

You could approach an auction house or medal dealer.

    Thank you Megan,

If I guess correctly then it is not illegal for me to sell these it is just Ebays policy that prohibits sale on their site.

    Thanks again

Have you tried listing them under “Democratic People’s Republic of Korea” ?

There is a brand new militaria-focused auction website called The Historical Auction Block.  It’s just getting off the ground, but there are no limitations regarding selling DPRK items, 3rd Reich items, Purple Hearts, etc.

    https://habonline.com/

Their selling fees are also much lower than eBays.  They don’t have as large of an audience as eBay, but they don’t have eBay’s selling restrictions.  Check it out!
