Currently the JOMSA Editor is very short of articles, especially those three to 10 pages in length. If you would like to submit an article or need assistance in producing an article the JOMSA Editor would love to hear from you.

I’ll see what I can come up with. Modern Armenia seems pretty undocumented at the moment….

I’m almost done with the first of a series of articles of South Africans and their medals of WWII. My retention and focus is severly crippled. So, I can only work on it a little bit at a time. I’ll have the first article to you by mid-to-late August. The second article is almost done, too. I hope to send it with the first in the series. These articles will fill your 3-10 page needs. Most will be 5-7 pages.

Well dang! Maybe I should finish mine ASAP then… It falls smack within that category!

This issue of the JOMSA is one of the best I’ve read since becoming a member. Fred L. Borch wrote the Cover Article . The article is excellent. I have read it twice since I got it today. A BIG Thank You, for their articles goes to; Timothy J. Brown, Fred J. Borgman, Edward J. Emering (Two Articles) and Robert E. Missling. I thoroughly enjoyed their articles, too. The Issue is a MUST read.

    For future reference,

The cover art and index pages are on the main website page, under Publications, The OMSA Journal, Current Edition.

These are added immediately before publication and the images formatted for easier viewing than on this forum.

I know that John. I have always wrote my impression of each issue and post the cover and Index Page with it. I do this so that a person can look back and see the issue I have wrote about.

Well that is all good, but maybe you could just link to the main pages, to show what you have written about. This also avoids listing the officer’s email addresses on the contents page. We try to keep this under wraps, but it may be a lost cause… :)

    Cheers, -Peter

    Guys,
It’s was just habit. For over two years I had to post both the the JOMSA Cover and Index Pages and Convention information in the forum because our Webmaster was "MISSING IN ACTION" and no one could change the JOMSA and Convention information on the Home Page. I’ll fix this. Like I said…just force of habit. Here’s the link to the Cover and Index page: https://www.omsa.org/content/current-edition

Yes it is. Contact Steve Watts. His email and snail mail addresses are in the JOMSA.

This is probably more a long-term project, but it would be fantastic if the annual Journal indexes (believe these are published in volume 6 each year) could be scanned and posted on the website.

It would be a great resource for sourcing past articles and might help shift some of its old journal stocks and raise funds for OMSA.

PS. A big thank you to Steve Watts who has been helping me track down some back issues of the Journal.
