    Can anyone tell me anything about this medal? I’m positive it’s German but I can’t find anything on it. The pendant is thin metal, probably tin and is hollow on the reverse. There are no hallmarks, initials or date stamped anywhere. In the center circle on the front running horizontal is the word "VEREIN." Above in a semicircle is the word, "KRIEGER" and below in a semicircle, the word "WELSCHBACH." The ribbon is red, white and black.

    It’s a veterans society award of the society of the town WELSCHBACH. Unfortunately there are several towns with this name. Kriegerverein = Verterans Society
