I’ve been put in charge of finding this brooch’s origins and I have come up empty handed. Can anyone here help?

It’s the Serbian Order of Milos the Great, founded 1898 by King Alexander I of Serbia. It only lasted until 1903 due to dynastic squabbling – it was named for Milos Obrenović, a prince of Serbia and head of the House of Obrenović, and abolished by King Peter I, who was of the rival House of Karađorđević!

It was awarded for merit in four classes… but this is all from memory, I’m at work and all my references are at home.
