From what it appears he is acting alone.
According to his personal diary/journal AND the manifesto, quote "Working with in a team gives numerous problems, such as the police being able to trace emails, the other persons telling, etc".
All signs point to him being alone in this (thank god that he is just one nut, and not 10).

On the other hand he is now claming to be part of not 1, but 2 national and 1 international terrorcells (that the Danish, Swedish and Norwegian Security Services (FBI’ish / CIA’ish) have never heard about.
    – But he will only tell about them, if he is given command of the entire norwegian army as a "master general" as he calls it.

What?? Commander in chief of the Norwegian armed forces? OMG! Imagine the terror he could then spread accross all of Europe!

Why not name him Admiral of the Fleet of the Swiss Navy instead?

And here is their new amphibious model…

Amid the frivolity, please remember that this is no harmless nutter but a mass murderer. The rationale behind his criminal acts may be ridiculous, outright crazy, but he set out deliberately to do harm to others based on his views. If we focus too much on his crackpot ideas, we may forget that he did what he did on purpose, with the intent to kill, and cannot rely on a plea of insanity however mad his world-view might be.

Actually, he should be a nutter and he should get an insanity plea.. Then they can lock him up forever..

If he gets a "normal" punishment, he will be out after MAX 21 years (Lifetime in Norway = 21 years)..
And in that time he will be even more screwed up, as he will spend most of the 21 years in complete isolation – Just like he is in now. (If he is let out with the other prisoners, he is VERY likely to get more thann just beat up)

Megan, nobody can forget what he did, and these posts are not aimed at diminishing what happened or trivializing these horrible events. The shear lunacy of this… Monster? Bozo? Devil? Crackpot? I’m even at a loss to simply find a word to categorize or describe him. The more we learn of his fantasy World, the more absolutely ridiculous, albeit horrible, this entire thing becomes… I’m only talking about his uniform, awards, titles, demands… No mention of the actual acts is made here.

I don’t know much about the Norwegian legal system, but it would seem relatively easy to try this man on the bombing and each of the killings (or a subset of the killings) on seprate charges and have the sentences run consecutively. But, maybe that’s not an option in Norway.

Hideous fake (both the man and the uniform).

Every good wish to the gallant people of Norway, our long-time allies and friends.

    Peter.

The maximum punisment in ALL cases are prison for life (You can’t really make it longer than life, can you?)
Lifetime = 21 years in Norway if he manages to behave..

We have the same in Denmark (And personally I think it sucks, and the Danish legal system is weak, but that’s off-topic).
We have a guy called Peter Lundin who some years ago chose to cut up his wife and her two sons into a lot of piece, and put them in the freezer.. He got the insanity-stamp right away, as it is the ONLY way to keep persons like that locked up forever.
