This piece moved through McNamara’s estate at Sotheby’s New York not too long ago, where it sold for around $35k. It quickly reappeared in the auction of Nate Sanders, an autograph dealer in Los Angeles, but didn’t sell there. Sanders appears to be the seller on Ebay. It was originally up with a very low starting bid, but the bidding stopped around $3k, so now the reserve is back to $70k.
When you consider that Joe Dimaggaio’s medal went for around $12k and Matthew Ridgeway’s for around $11k, this one seems a bit strong for the market.
