Ed_Haynes OMSA Member Registered: October 2004 Posts: 157	This is a Military Order of the Foreign Wars of the United States medal is made of enamel and gold. It is number “365”. The medal belonged to Lt. Col. Charles G. Starr who was 1878 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. Lt Col Starr was assigned to frontier duty from 1878 to 1883. After returning from the frontier Starr served at various posts in the United States until he was sent to the Philippines in 1898 during the Spanish-American War.
