    ANNAM. Silver KHANH ?

This silver badge is hallmarked silver (french swan hallmark for foreign made silver at 12:00 on reverse). Traditional technique with two stamped sheets of silver, soldered. Size is 65x40mm, weight 13.7 grams. The two dragons on the obverse are high relief.
It is very similar to a Khanh from Annam. But Sylvester does not mention silver badges of the order, and I cannot read the mandarin caracters on the reverse. It has been in my collection for at least 30 years and I now wonder what it really is.
Every bit of help will be gratefully received

    Dear Paul

In the Musee d’Armee, p. 135 they have an example of Khin-Kham decribed as argent dore perhaps this explains the silver piece

    All the best
