I have a friend who is attempting to put together a representative group of the ribbons (no medals) awarded to LGEN John A. Lejeune, USMC. He knows which ribbons the General rated and also the devices but he does not know where to purchase them. The Army DSM, Navy DSM, Marine Corps Expeditionary and World War I Victory are relatively easy to come by. The difficult ones are the Mexican Campaign (1914), 2nd Nicaraguan Campaign, Spanish Campaign, West Indies Campaign (Sampson Medal), Legion of Honor (Commander’s Grade) and the Croix De Guerre w/palm (World War I type ribbon).

I have googled all the normal site (,,,, etc.) but none have the 6 that I have listed. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Try to inquire at the OMSA Ribbon Bank. They should have most of the ribbons you need.

    Thanks, I’ll give that a try….

Graco does have those ribbons. Here’s the Mexican Campaign: … n_Service/
