My new finds!

Hi,

Here is one new medal what i picked up from Dublin last weekend.
I don't know anything about French awards, so any feedback/corrections/information would be great!

Medal of the French Society for the Aid of Wounded Military (Médaille de la Société Française de Secours aux Blessés Militaire)

I love it, because the original ribbon. Like I understand it is pretty common award.

Yes this medal is pretty common. What is less common is to find one attributed / en,graved on the reverse.

The SSBM medal is indeed common but nice. It's a membership medal. Some red cross medals were made for the 1870-1871 war and WWI.

My new French medal. I think I paid too much for that but hopfully clasp adds some value on it as well.

Here are few more yesterday's finds... LOH is is nice and almost prefect enamel.
There was as well few with the boxes (3rd republic) and also two pure gold ones (one with the rosette) but I run low of cash at this time... very adempted of course...

Very nice 3rd Republic LOH. Enamels practically intact! Good find!

A very desirable colonial medal. The coin was made by the Paris Mint (1907-1913, "corn1ARGENT"), the mounting is private made, maybe Chobillon.
The clasp is a Paris Mint made but the marks are for a private made.

The LoH is very nice too.
