The hotel is the Dallas/Fort Worth Hyatt Regency, located at the DFW airport. This means there will be no taxi fare for those flying into the convention. For those of you wanting to do a display, we are having a special award this year for exhibits focusing on Aviation. Keeping with this theme, our scheduled Saturday banquet speaker is Paul Oelkrug, the coordinator for Special Collections at the University of Texas at Dallas. Among the collections at the University of Texas at Dallas are a wide array of materials on Aviation history covering the First World War, the papers of Jimmy Doolitle and Vice Admiral Charles E. Rosendahl, who was in charge of the United States Navy's Airship program, and, for those of you with an interest in Vietnam and South-East Asia, the archives of Air America.
If you have any questions, give me or Mike "Doc" Riley an email. We will do our utmost to answer your questions.
Best wishes,
John
